Green garbage tip

Organic garbage, unlike most other trash, produces masses of methane gas when it is dumped into landfills.  Methane gas is about 50 times more damaging to the environment than carbon emissions.

So we can reduce our negative impact on the environment if we can compost vegetable peelings, grass cuttings, fruit cores and egg shells instead of throwing it into a garbage bag.
