What the universe looks like

The book, The Big Bang to Now:  A Time Line uses 85 events, 225 pages, and about thirty thousand words to try to understand the universe as it has evolved for 13.7 billion years.

The video by the American Museum of Natural History is a view of the universe in pictures that shows where the planet Earth, our solar system and the Milky Way fit into the great scope of the universe we have mapped so far.

The universe is so vast, so mysterious and so awesome, there is no limit to the number of ways we can keep looking at it without exhausting the potential for learning more.
